He and his wife Salama ‘Tik-Tokd’ all the way to the Burj Al Khalifa in Dubai. Their image on the world’s tallest building was a big event for his followers.

Khalid dropped in to Restaurant Chef Pillai, in Kochi, Kerala to meet and eat with Chef Pillai who also is an internet sensation, cooking up a delicious storm this side of the world. Between them, their 5 million followers also got to see Khalid relishing Chef Pillai’s exotic Fish Nirvana dish served to Khalid by Chef Pillai himself.
Chef Pillai will soon be in the neighbourhood of Khalid Al Ameri in the Middle East where Restaurant Chef Pillai is all set to open this year in Doha, and soon in Dubai.
A Stanford University Masters in MBA, Khalid got into social media after a corporate career run which included him being a correspondent for CNN in the Middle East.
Born of a Scottish mother and Emirati father, Khalid was brought up in a multicultural home, much like the multiculture of Dubai.
