Chef Pillai pays a visit and respects to the renowned writer, director and scriptwriter M.T. Vasudevan Nair, who was conferred the Jnanpith award, India’s highest literary award in 1995.
The visit in Chef Pillai’s own words when he visited him at his home ‘Sithara’ in Kozhikode…
”The journey to Kozhikode to seek the blessings of the Guru of letters (Akshara Guru) is a gift treasured by time.
That which needed a thousand words to be said is searched in silence by the great magician.
I consider it my great fortune that my feet touched ‘SITHARA’, on Kottaram road.
The shade that spread behind the two letters M.T, is the goodness of Malayalam and may the Guru’s blessings spread to the flavours of taste is my fervent prayer.”
