The tides of time have carried with them the legacies of Portuguese, Dutch, and British trading posts, which stand like weathered sentinels, guardians of a bygone era. Their timeworn stones bear witness to a bustling past, when Cannanore’s markets thrived as the heart of commerce.

Strolling through Brigade Road is the best way to discover it.
The high street stores as well as street jewellery to tattoo parlours, this road has it all. It does not encourage you to shop, it just sets you in the mood to shop.
Then there are the restaurants. Chef Pillai’s RCP has just opened doors here.
In keeping with the spirit of Brigade Road, the restaurant has a casual and laid-back charm to it.
Whether it is Chef Pillai’s Signature FISH NIRVANA or any of the dishes on the expansive menu, you can move from the mocktails, unique starters through the Main dishes and end up with his Signature Dessert offerings!
