Back in the days in Calicut, when Chef Pillai left his home in Kollam to work in Calicut. The freewheeling days of working and dreaming of greater avenues in life while relaxing on the Calicut beach front!
Years later, as Chef recollects the opening of his first RCP in Bangalore as his mother lights the lamp, it was the start of my dreams being fulfilled. Then came the signboard in the Le Meridian in Kochi which exactly like a vision he had dreamed of many years ago in London. ‘My father and Mother have been my greatest inspiration in life’, says Chef Pillai proudly today.
‘But, I still have miles to go before I sleep’, he smiles as if to remind himself.
