Chef Pillai cooks up a storm onboard British warship HMS LANCASTER!

After 14 years after the last British warship to land in the Kochi waters, HMS Lancaster sailed in.
Chef Suresh Pillai and team RCP did the honours of cooking lunch for 200 naval officers of the British vessel on board the ship.
For a change, the officers who were eating steaks or fish and chips were treated to the spicy, tangy and delicious signature dishes of Chef Pillai. It was an out of the world experience for them. ‘This is Michelin Star Indian Cuisine!, Thank you”, said one of the officers in praise of the meal.
The British High Commission members had visited RSTAURANT CHEP PILLAI at Le Meridian, in Kochi earlier and selected the dishes for the meal.
Chef Pillai spent 15 of his finest years in London, before coming over to India to set up his maiden restaurant in Bangalore.
