Chef Pillai’s magical moment when he was featured in BBC’s MASTERCHEF PROFESSIONALS Cookery show. This was the dish he created that impressed the judges. The rest is history.
Chef Pillai was inspired by his childhood life by the rustic, lakeside in Kollam, Kerala and more importantly his mother Radha’s cooking. He cooks up a grilled salmon resting on a mound of mashed potato masala, surrounded by the gravy of mackerel cooked in the traditional mango and coconut masala, a Kerala tradition.
